Hi. I am 28 yrs old married man. We planned for baby. But this is not possible yet. Yesterday I had seman analysis test. In which we found volume- 2ml, viscosity -1hrs40min. Count 70 million. Active 60%. Sluggish 15%. Dead 25%. Normal morphology65%.pus cells 2-3. We need to cure this condition. Plz suggest treatment for increase liquification. Is seman culture and sensitivity test helpful in this condition? Plz reply as soon as possible.

Everything in this report is normal except the liquefaction time. Semen upon ejaculation turns into a hard jelly like liquid but liquefies in 20-40 minutes. A higher than this liquefaction time might impose problems with sperm motility and reaching out and fertilising the ovum. In case you are ovulating then you can go in for Artificial insemination which might prove to be successful. In this the sperms of your husband will be treated and deposited into your genital tract with better chances of fertilisation.
