What Does This Semen Analysis Test Result For Delay In Pregnancy Indicate?

Hello, I'm 31 and I've been with my partner for over 18 mth now. We have been trying for a baby for nearly 15mth , we haven't used any family planning device it's frustrating and upsetting that I still havnt conceived month after month. last mth my husband checked his semon ,his total sperm count 18 millions,morphology= normal(55%),abnormal head(21%),abnormol body and tail(24%) and MOTILITY= active motile (10%),slug motile(40%),non motile(50%).i was also checked 9 mth ago ....my all report are okay... plz give me advice..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

According to your husband's semen analysis result, He have total sperm count of 18 million, which is low. As per motility of sperms, only 30% of sperms were active motile, 40% were sluggish motile & 50% of sperms were non motile. Altogethar motility is very low. As per morphology 55% of sperms were of normal shape & rest were of abnormal shape with abnbormal head in 21% & abnormal body & tain in 24% of sperms.

So all together your husband's semen analysis shows that he is suffering with Asthenospermia (Low sperm motility) & oligospermia (low sperm count). These both findings should be the reason of infertility problem both of you are facing
