Hello,
I can understand your concern. Your semen is normal regarding volume, liquefaction, alkaline reaction, color, viscosity and turbidity.
Normal
sperm count should be 20 million sperms/ml or more than that. Your count is 24 million sperms per ml which is also normal.
Regarding motility of the sperms in the semen sample, at least 60% sperms should be swimming and maximum 40% immotile sperms can be considered normal. However, your immotile sperms are 54% which is a cause of concern.
As far as you have 4% of sperms with normal morphology, you do not need to worry regarding other forms. This is if we follow strict criteria.
In addition, your
semen analysis shows presence of some pus cells which might indicate presence of an infection that might require attention of your doctor.
Thus, I would advise you to visit a
sexologist or
fertility center for discussion and management of immotility of the sperms and possible presence of infection which might require a course of antibiotics.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have follow up questions.
Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
