Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a sleep test recently. During the test I was discovered to have sleep apnea. No big surprise. What I noticed and am concerned about is the SpO2 level. 91.7% before sleep and reached 85% about 50 times during 98 minutes without a CPAP machine. With the CPAP it was 85% 94 times over 260 minutes of sleep.

What Does This Sleep Test Result Indicate?
Hello, The low spo2 is caused by sleep apnea. You need to cure the reason causing sleep apnea and spo2 levels will be normal. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
