Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My MRI scan report impression is as follows: - Small sized right paracentral disc extrusion at L1-2 level is compressing the thecal sac.No root indentation or foraminal compromise - Posterior disc bulges at L2-3,L3-4 and L5-S1 levels are indenting the thecal sac. no root indentation or or foraminal compromise - Moderate lumbar spondylotic changes Krishna (54 years)
MRI report suggests that there is partial intervertebral disc prolapse and extruded discs are causing pressure on the nerve roots arising from the spinal cord.
This may require pain management, physical therapy, loading vitamin B12 Doses and antidepressant drugs. Please share your symptomatology.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
