What Does This Stool Analysis Report Indicate?

Hi my stool analysis shows 5.5 Ph, Blood Occult negative, Mucus Cells (Present Several), Fat Cells Present 20-25 in many fields, R.B.C Present 2-3 in many fields, Pus Cells Present 3-4 in many fields, giardia Lamblia Cysts Present 2-3 in many fields and Undigested Starch Present (++--). Please guide me about these results

Hello,
From the stool report that you have posted here it looks like you have got diarrhea due to giardia lamblia infection in your gastrointestinal tract. Its a protozoa which harbours the GIT and causes malabsorption and diarrhea.
Thats why there is increased fat and undigested starch in the stool because of tha malabsorption.
This infection is totally treatable with antibiotics like metronidazole and similar group drugs.
I suppose as you have done stool examination, you might be consulting a doctor for the same who will be starting you with appropriate antibiotic.
Till then avoid eating outside. Drink boiled or purified water only.
It transmits through feco oral route. So maintain proper hygiene so as not to transmit it to your family members.
