What Does This Test Result For Pregnancy And HCG Level Indicate?

i have taken 4 at home pregnancy tests and they all came up faint positive and the digital one came up pregnant 1-2 weeks i am 4 days before my missed period. I had a blood test and the results came back with a hcg level of 12. my doctor has started me on progesterone supplements and i get another blood test tomorrow. Should i be worried about a miscarriage? i have been ttc for 3 years with pcos and with diet i changed my blood work to normal and then found out i was pregnant .. is there anything i can do other than just wait??

Hello,

I think you shouldn't worry miscarriage since you are not having pain and bleeding. I think you are pregnant and another BHCG test may be needed. Take progesterone as recommended by doctors in order to support your pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
