Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This Test Result For Sperm Analysis Indicate?
hi iam shahi my sperm analysis report shows that oligo asthenozoosoermia with infection, sperm count: 18 million sperm motility :activity motile 10% feebly motile 40% non motile 50% ,sperm morphology: 40% abnormal head and ttail 30%abnormality is insignificant
Your report of semen is not complete to predict the likely results of pregnancy. However, the sperm count below 20 million/mm, active motility below 50%, normal sperm morphology below 50% are unfavorable factors for successful conception. Also, besides above mentioned factors, some of factors like liquification time of semen, presence of pus cells or / and epithelial cells in semen, which may be due to some infection of genital tract etc., are also important for complete analysis of your semen report.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
