What Does This Test Result From Urine Culture Indicate?

My age is 40 lady my urine culture report says: Susceptible: ceftriaxone, cephotaxime, levofloxacin, nettlin, gentamycin, amoxyclav, imipenem, tobramycin, amikacin, piperacillin, sulbactum, nitrofurantoin,Resistant: oflaxacin, cefuraxime, norfloxacin, ciprofloxin cotrimaxazole, ceftazidime, cefixime.Can anyone please say what this results means.

Hi

It lists those antibiotics that can be used to treat your infection and those that cannot. Susceptible lists those that will work and Resistant lists those that your body is reaistant to and they will not work.

Try 100 mg of nitrofurantoin tablet for 7-10 days with the supervision of your doctor.
