Hi,

Diffused liver enlargement is a sign, which may be due to chronic injury to liver cells by alcohol abuse, smoking, unhealthy diet, potent drugs or antibiotic etc., for a long time. It may also be manifestation of some disease like liver cirrhosis, metabolic damage to liver, auto-immune diseases of liver, viral infections etc.

If you are having abuse of alcohol, smoking, use of unnecessary drugs or unhealthy diet, particularly rich fatty diet, then, it is an indication to take care against these things. You, should have tested your liver functions serially. Guarded body exercises, also help the liver in getting rid of toxins and excessive fat accumulation in liver cells.

If your subsequent liver scan show increased enlargement or diffusion or your liver functions show a deterioration, then you are advised to consult your doctor for further diagnosis of your disease and treatment accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
