My T3 reading is 10.4,T4 is 19.1 and TSH o.o2. I have a multi nodular toxic goitre. Am I just in the group of needing treatment? I do feel well apart from occasional palpitations. I have just commenced Carbimazole 10mg daily and am meant to take radio active iodine in the near future. I am frightened of too much thyroxine being taken out so needing to have replacement medication for life. Is the dose of iodine quite accurate as I have heard tales of it sometimes taking several years to get the levels correct? What would you suggest if you had my thyroid readings?
