So far i had a cat scan with dye 4 weeks ago and a US two days ago. Should i just have my thyroid taken out?
The cervical nodes may be reactive limph nodes or cause by a local infection and in this case they will diasappear soon.
In your circumsatnces,i suggest to do the thyroid test TSH,fT3 and fT4 to see the thyroid function and than to consult physically a local endocrinologist because it is necessary to clarifie the definitive diagnosis and to have a treatement accordingly.
Hope this is helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.

What Does This Thyroid Scan Indicate?
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Your ultrasound means that you have a Multinodular goitre. More clearly, you have nodules in both lobes of the thyroid gland.
