What Does This Transvaginal Ultrasound Report Indicate?
i just had my transvaginal ultrasound. diagnosed with normal sized anteverted uterus with thickened and intact endimetrium as described suggestive of hyperplastic change. cystic both ovaries probably physiologic. can u explain it in simplier terms. i also recently gave birth with my 4th live child last Feb of this year. Thank you
I think the report shows normal sized uterus. The inner lining of the uterus is thick and possibly thicker than normal and a D&C procedure is needed to see its composition. Both ovaries are with small cysts but it is considered natural or from birth and not a disease.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
