What Does This Transvaginal Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Hi Im from the Philippines. I just got my transvaginal ultrasound today. The findings are: The anteverted uterus measures 5.5x 4.6 x 5.0 cm. (LTW) with homogenous myometrial echopattern. No focal intrauterine mass nor gestational sac. The endometrial stripe is intact and unthickened measuring 1.0cm. Both ovaries are normal in size and configuration. No adnexal mass lesion seen. The posterior cul-de-sac is unremarkable. My other ob says that ive got a miscarriage do i need to undergo for D and C. my bleeding only last for a week.. Thanks

Hello,
No, you don't need a D and C as there are no retained conceptional products and the cavity is empty. With your bleeding, all your products of conception have flown out and cleared. Just maintain perineal hygiene.
