What Does This Transvaginal Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I got transvaginal ultrasound on June 6 and here s the result : the uterus is anteverted measuring 5.9x3.3x3.7cm(L x AP x W). The echotexture is uniform with no discrete solid mass, cyst or calcific lesson seen. The endometrial stripe is hyperechoic with a maximal AP thickness of 0.75cm . The cervix is closed measuring 2.7cm. Few sub-cm foci are noted in this region.Polycystic ovaries. No cul-de-sac fluid collection demonstrated.... What does my scan result mean? And is there a possibility of very early pregnancy?

Dear Madam,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic in such a situation.
This is a normal transvaginal ultrasound scan report and there is no evidence of pregnancy. However, the gestational sac (early pregnancy sign) becomes visible on ultrasound scan as early as the fifth week of pregnancy or three weeks after conception. Therefore I suggest you to have a blood test for B-HCG (human corionic gonadothropine). There is an increase of this hormon even in early pregnancy.
Hope this was helpful.
If there is something else you need to know, please feel free to ask.
Thank you.
Dr. Juarda
