The ultrasound shows normal parameters including normal head down position, normal length of the cervix, normal fetal heart rate, etc. Normal delivery would depend on various factors like the height of the mother, pelvic size in proportion to the baby and the progress of the cervical dilatation. If the vitals like blood sugar and blood pressure have been normal and if the doctor doesn t suspect any underlying issues, the chances of normal delivery are quite high. Avoid strenuous activities and lifting heavy weights. Walk for 30 mins and stay well hydrated, drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water. Labor can happen any time between 37 completed weeks to 40 weeks. Weekly monitoring would be needed until then. If you notice any severe cramps or break in water, visit the gynecologist immediately.
