General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern doctor. Though blighted ovum is common cause of early miscarriages, repeated blighted ovum ( chemical pregnancy ) is uncommon. It can be caused by chromosomal abnormality of fertilized ovum/ Immunological rejection of fertilized ovum.( which is treatable ) In this context you need to consult specialist in reproductive health / Reproductive immunology. A methodical assessment & specific management can be the answer to your problem. Thanks.
