What Does This Ultrasound Report During Pregnancy Indicate?
Single intrauterine fetus in cephalic presentation and spine to maternal left. Placenta is left fundal posterior. Liquor amnii is mildly reduced afi is 7.5 cms. Cervical length 2.2 cm . Gestational age. 36.5 weeks..fetal weight 2992+/-437gms. Can there ia possibility of normql delivery?
The scan shows that the baby is a normal size and weight. The amniotic fluid is slightly low, but that is not too bad. The cervix has reduced in length which is one of the early signs of delivery. The baby has the head facing down and the placenta is far away.
All these features are good for a normal delivery, so yes: a normal delivery is very possible.
