hi dr. i am advocate adeel ahmad khan from mansehra pakistan. what are the sides effect of sub serosal to inramural posterior wall fibroid of 3.47cm* 4.04cm. other observation by the doctor ultrasound report as cause texture, nymetrium, odenomyois, the patient is my mother of the age of about 50 years
1. The effects of the sub-serosal, intramural posterior wall fibroids can cause excessive bleed, chances of increase in size ( the lesion and cause mass effect on the pelvic and abdominal organs) 2.There is altered echo-texture due to presence of lesions with in the uterus. 3.The Adenomyosis - is thickened myometrium with cystic changes and poor differentiation of the endometrium -myometrium. 4.In this case any one will try to treat with hormonal treatment - If there is no result, the treatment of choice will be hysterectomy - removal of uterus. 5.If there is excessive bleed and pain / discomfort in the pelvic region - if patient is post menopausal status - would recommend a hysterectomy. Good luck.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
