Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of ultrasound report is as follows: There is presence of gestational sac in the uterus and there is evidence of pregnancy indicated by thickened endometrium. A gestational sac is also visible, however, the sac is not in its normal location i.e. it is not implanted in the uterine wall (anterior or posterior). The gestational sac is implanted in the cornual region or the site from where the fallopian tube opens into the uterine cavity. The gestational sac is formed bu no fetal pole is identified. Presence of gestational sac but absence of fetal pole is suggestive of non-viable pregnancy and the ovum is called blighted ovum. You need to consult your gynecologist for further management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
