Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have bee having lower abd pain/pressure, bloating, urinating more frequent, and at times troubles with constipation. I thought it was my diet so I have been trying to change my eating choices. I went to my GYN and c/o heavier menstrual flow with clotting, and occ spotting even after my period is completed. She talked to me about an ablation and ordered an U/S. I had the U/S and the report noted I have a 6.8 fibroid tumor in the wall of my uterus, a 3.8 cyst in my right ovary and the ovary is larger then the left. (left ovary in normal) I also have thickening of the endometrial lining that she made a comment that I would need a biopsy of this. What are your recomendations or suggestions....
In my opinion, you need a biopsy of the cyst of your right ovary as well as from the lining of your endometrium. You did not mention your age. If it is near menopause or postmenopausal, then hysterectomy is the suggested treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
