What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

my ultrasound report says Liver is normal in size measuring 14.8 cm with irregular borders and coarse texture. No focal lesion seen. Portal vein is in normal limits 13mm. while the LFTs are very bad Bilirubin=6.8 ALT=279 AST=350 I am a lady of about 55 What should i do while hepatitus B and C are negative Thanks

Hello madam.
I see your reports. These reports are not so bad as you think. Bilirubin 6 is not so much high. As hepatitis B and C is negative so nothing to worry. You are probably suffering from hepatitis A. Which is not a fatal disease. I advise to complete rest for 3 week. Take high carbohydrates based diet. Avoid fatty diet.Finally end with 'Hope I have answered your question.
