What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

hello.. this is the ultrasound report . the uterua is anteverted with smooth contour and homogenous echopattern measuring 5.7 x 2.7cm. (the cervix measures 2.6 x 2.2 x 2.1 cm) . the endometrium id hyperechoic measuring 0.8 cm with distinct subendometrial halo. the right ovary measures 3.1 x 2.9 x 1.7cm. the leftovary measuresb3.0 x 2.8 x 2.2cm. both ovaries show multiple peripherally located anechoic cysts measuring no adnexal mass seen. there is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac. Impresion: normal sized anteverted uterus with thin endometrium polycystic ovaries

Read this carefully and I reply at the end .
Uterus accepts a fertilized ovum , it implants into the ENDOMETRIUM (thickness of endometrium must be 11 mm , in your case it is 8 mm ).
Size of uterus normal 7.6 cmX 4.5 cm X 3.0 cm ( in your case size is normal ) .
Ovary size 4X3x2 cm , in your case normal on both sides .
Your are having Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( PCOD or PCOS i.e. syndrome ) .
Amenorrhea, irregular menstrual cycle , acne , obesity , hirsutism are very common symptoms of pcod .
