i am 46years and had brest cancer in 2009 had surgery chemo radiation and taking tamoxifen then my doc changed tamoxifen to oreta after 2years ihad no mensis till 2015but now in november i had spots of bleeding i had stopped oreta inaug2015 I have my endometrium ultrasound and there is thickness of endometrim with 8.7mm with hyperechoic with cysts area what does this means is there chances of cancer
Hi Feel sorry for your health status.already you suffered with one ,now complaing of spotting of blood.ultrasonogram showing cystic endometrial thickness.endometrial thickness >5mm needs evaluation.there are some conditions where breast carcinomas associated with uterus cancers.here post menopausal bleeding with thickned endometrium suggested endometrial biopsy to role out malignancy.early evaluation is important as early stages of cancer better treated with surgery Thank you Vasundhara
