Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a ultrasound due Hematuria. Right kidney is 11.9x4.7x6.2cm and left kidney is 9.7x5.0x5.8. No cystic or solid masses, calculi or evidence of hydronephrosis. The cortical echogenicity and thickness bilaterally is unremarkable. Resistive indices are .84 right, 0.85 left. The bladder is not distended. It grossly appears unremarkable with a bladder volume noted 48ml. A left ureteral jet is noted, the right ureteral jet is not noted. No free fluid is in the pelvis. what does this mean?
HI Well come HCM I really appreciate concern, if this was the history of hematuria then the given finding of ultrasonography not correlate with this, the most important is age and gender which is not given here, but could be guess that it must be female one, in female menses bleeding could be contaminated in urine hope this information helps.
