Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that as long as your thyroid hormone levels are normal, there is nothing to worry about your thyroid gland. Anyway, considering the nodule, which could be a cyst, I would recommend performing a scintigraphy of the thyroid gland. The lymph node near the left submandibular region could be a possible inflammatory lymph node. But, I recommend checking inflammation tests ( complete blood count, PCR, ESR) and follow up with a new ultrasound after a month. If it persists, a needle biopsy would be needed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
