What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Hello Dr. Rynne, Thank you for your time. I have been recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C, and in the work-up the ultrasound shows a lesion or shadowing . I can also tell you that blood tests show I have stage 2 liver fibrosis. My question is what can this shadowing be based on my diagnosis? Paula

Liver lesions most of the time are benign and in a few cases, a malignant mass can be the case. It is important that you follow it up appropriately, as already advised by your doctor.
