Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my ultrasound report says both ovaries show multiple small follicles upto 5 mm arranged in periphery of ovarian tissue with central ecogenic stroma. And uterus evidence of splitting endometrial echo involving uterine corpus and measure 13 mm in thickness. What does tht mean?
* The multiple ovarian follicles may be part of mid-menstrual cycle show up if the same period co-relate with the USG date as there are developing follicles during this period or the period beyond that, one may think of polycystic ovarian disorder from various reasons.
* The endometrial thickness can be from early pregnancy changes, inflammatory issue related or else.
* Kindly provide all further necessary details about LMP, associated features so that better depiction of the case can be possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
