FINDINGS: The right and left thyroid lobes measure 4.2 x 2.3 x 2.2 cm and 4.5 x 2.4 x 1.8 cm, respectively , with heterogeneous parenchymal echopattern. No definite mass lesions noted. Minimal increase in vascular flow is noted within the gland. The isthmus is thickened. The adjacent soft tissue and vascular structures are unremarkable. No enlargement lymph nodes noted. IMPRESSION : Enlarged thyroid gland with diffuse parenchymal disease. FREE T4 : 10.79 pmol/l TSH : 2.74 uIU/ml Please tell me the meaning. Thank you so much
