What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Hi.. I m Ofelia, 27 years old. I just want to know further the meaning regarding the remarks of my ultrasound: It said that The uterus is anteverted with regular contour and homogeneous myometrium The endometrium is thin and isoechoic The cervix is closed and homogeneous Within both ovaries are multiple small subcapsular follicles measuring less than 1 cm suggestive od BILATERAL POLYCYSTIC OVARIES No adnexal mass seen in this scan Scanty free fluid in the cul de sac. Your response is highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

dear ofelia ..your ultrasound diagnosis is polycystic ovaries ..now you need hormonal profiling as FSH .LH . PRPLACTIN..TESTOSTERONE..AND BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL ..THYROID STATUS etc to reach a diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome ..usually young girls with this give good results with drugs
