What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?
my wife said she had period from 3 mach 2011 and ended at 1 week later and we had sex on the 13th of mac and on 13 april 2011 she had an ultra sound test because she had blood spottings and the result showed the size of the embryo 'crl' was 9.9mm and the doctor said the age of the was 7 weeks and 1 day, that means she is pregnant, I am confused with the results, I knew my wife could be pregnant but not that long, please doctor give me some satisfying answer as I could not say my wife cheated me. Thank you.

By convention, the age of fetus is calculated from last menstrual period and subsequently you have a result of 7 weeks. It does not mean that you had sexual intercourse 7 weeks previously. Please get the following dates clarified, probable date of conception, last menstrual period and probable date of ovulation. With these terms we can get a more accurate explanation for you.
