is this all normal? what does it mean? CLINICAL INDICATION: Followup left ovarian cyst. TECHNIQUE: Multiple real-time transvaginal sonographic images of the uterus and adnexa were obtained. COMPARISON: None FINDINGS: The uterus is anteflexed. The uterus measures 7.4 x 3.6 x 5 cm, corresponding to a volume of 69.8 cc. The endometrial stripe measures 0.4cm. The right ovary measures 3.6 x 1.5 x 2 cm, corresponding to volume of 5.4 cc. The left ovary measures 3.8 x 1.8 x 1.6 cm, corresponding to a volume of 5.7 cc. Follicles are seen within both ovaries. Blood flow seen to both ovaries. No suspicious adnexal mass is identified. No free pelvic fluid is identified. Impression IMPRESSION: 1. Grossly unremarkable pelvic ultrasound.
