Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Irregular cyst in right ovary may represent a collapsing cyst. Heterogeneous area in left adnexa with a echoed areas and adjacent free fluid may represent left ovary which may be secondary to a ruptured follicle or cyst which has decompressed. What does this mean?
As per my clinical experience, though clinical symptoms are needed for best co relation of the report with the issue, provided information indicates that: - Recent follicle rupture has taken place through left ovary - Right ovarian cyst size is mandatory to know for further comments - Free fluid in pouch of Douglas might be secondary to follicle rupture or pelvic inflammatory condition such as Chlamydia or others
However, if you can provide me the chief complains as well as menstrual history, I can still focus more precisely in this regard.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
