Hello and welcome to HCM,
The
ultrasound report shows small stones or microliths in left kidney.
In addition, the left kidney also shows a cyst measuring 1.2 cm in left upper pole.
The wall of the cyst is also calcified.
Presence of microliths and calcified cyst in left kidney suggests tendency to deposit calcium in body.
Thus, serum levels of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D are required to assess the
calcium metabolism in body.
A large stone in kidney can be removed surgically, however, it is difficult to remove multiple small calculi or stones.
The prostate gland is also enlarged.
I suggest you to get serum levels of PSA.
PSA is a marker which increases in cases of enlargement of prostate and may also be used to screen for cancer of prostate.
The liver is showing fatty changes. Fatty changes on liver can occur due to alcohol consumption,
diabetes mellitus,
malnutrition to name a few causes.
Fatty liver is a reversible condition.
If the above mentioned risk factors are present, they should be removed or discontinued to reverse the fatty changes in liver.
Thanks and take care
