Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This Ultrasound Report Of Kidney Indicate?
respected sir, A small roundish slightly hyperechoic mass measuring 3.2 * 3.2 noted arising from lateral aspect of upper pole of right kidney the lesion shows flecks of calcification but shows no E\O cavitation.Lesion is not distorting the pelvicalyceal saystem no increased vascularity on dopler Right kidney - 8.6 * 3.9 cms
The result says there is a small round mass in upper part of right kidney with some calcification. Since it shows no increases vascularity, and no distortion of surrounding tissue architecture, this is unlikely to be a cancer- that is all what I can comment with this report alone.
Your doctor will discuss in detail. Depending on clinical status, you may be asked for a CT scanning with contrast.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
