General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the issue of multiple nodules both sides of thyroid gland is secondary to Hashimoto and auto immune response as there is associated scleroderma as well.

However, I need further data as follows to get better guidance probabilities in this issue:
1. Current symptoms
2. Recent and previous reports of lab data particularly that of thyroid function tests TSH, free T4 and T3 levels
3. Scan copies of the ultrasound
4. Weight chart of the child if available

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
