Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My uterus report says it is post menopausal n atrophic. No myometric mass lesion seen. Endometrial echo is seen in midline. My age is 64. During ultrasound for gallbladder stone it was found gallbladder has been removed n everything is fine. Is there any cause of worry
Thanks for your question. As your age is 64 and you are post menopausal, these are physiological changes in the reproductive system ( uterus) in response to changes in hormone levels ( decrease in estrogen, progesterone and increase in testosterone).
Atrophic uterus is due to same because of decreasing uterine muscle mass and atrophy of inner lining of uterus( endometrium).
For gall bladder stones usually gall bladder with stones need to be removed (cholecystectomy) so absent gall bladder is acceptable post gall stones surgery.
Everything is acceptable considering your age and post surgery status. So you should not be worrying.
Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
