What Does This Ultrasound Report Signify?
Hi, I am 32 yrs old and went for pre conception counselling. Doctor has done ultra scan to see my ovulation progress . My cycle is 31 days average. On day 10 there were no dominant follicles . On day 12 there were two -9*10mm and 10*11mm in left. In right there were no follicles. can you please tell me if this is the normal growth or is it slow. I am not on any treatment yet.

Hi! Thank you for asking here. Well, what doctor noticed in the ultra scan was your ovulation. Its a natural process which goes in your body each month. Either of ovary releases ova each month so it could be fertilized but if its not fertilized, it comes out as mensuration. Now in your case, the follicles are present at the left side. There's nothing to worry about. Its a fertile period until the follicles are alive.
