General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There is no cure yet, but there are many ways you can decrease or eliminate PCOS symptoms and feel better.

Your doctor may offer different medicines that can treat symptoms such as irregular periods, acne, excess hair, and elevated blood sugar.

MEDICINES ARE, Clomiphene (Clomid). This oral anti-estrogen medication is taken during the first part of your menstrual cycle.

Letrozole (Femara). This breast cancer treatment can work to stimulate the ovaries.

Metformin (Glucophage, Fortamet, others). Gonadotropins. Fertility treatments are available to help women get pregnant.

You always have an option of IVF and Surrogacy if the Fertility treatment does not work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
