Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The ultrasound report shows the ovary converted in to a cyst with thick walls measuring four centimeter in maximum dimension.

The cyst needs to be surgically removed because there is chance to developing cancer in the cyst. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
