We got the following ultrasound results accompanied with 14-20 days of menstral bleeding. Parkview Health Diagnostic Imaging Report Examination: US - Pelvic with Transvaginal. Date of Exam: Jun 05, 2015 07:22:00 AM. Comparison: None. Relevant Clinical Information: metrorrhagia, frequent and extended lengths. Discussion: Transabdominal and transvaginal imaging performed. Endometrium is heterogeneous and mildly increased in echogenicity. It is abnormally thickened measuring 2.4 cm. Small amount of free fluid noted. In the right ovary there is a 2 cm anechoic lesion compatible with simple cyst. Some blood flow is noted to both ovaries. Uterus measures 7.3 x 5.8 x 5.1 cm. Right ovary measures 3.8 x 2 x 2 cm. Left ovary measures 2.7 x 1.2 x 2.3 cm.
The ultrasound report shows normal sized uterus and normal thickness of endometrium. Fluid in pouch of Douglas implies that ovulation has taken place. The ultrasound report is within normal limits.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
