Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I would like to ask for the findings of my ultrasound. The endometrium is thick and hypwrechoic woth ontact endomymometrial interface. The right ovary is postwrior to the uterus and contains small follicle. The left ovary is posterolateral to the uterus and contains more than 12 mostly subcapsular follicles measuring less than 1. 0 cm o. diameter with densw strom. Attached to the posterior border of the right ovary is a thin-walled unilocular anechoic cystic structure measuring 5. 9x5. 1x4. 9cm, suggestive of an outpouching ovarian new growth with benign sonologic feautures versus a paraovarian cyst (what does this means) I m so worried. Please enlighten me. Thanks!
There is multiple polyps in the ovary is there out of which one is quite large, however the features are likely suggestive of a benign(non cancerous) nature.
Consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated. You might require a laparoscopy for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
