What Does This Ultrasound Result During Pregnancy Indicate?
USG report on examination of pregnancy---single intrauterine gestational sac noted in upper uterine cavity with a yolk sac and a fetal pole.CRL=20.6 mm- correponds to 08 weeks 5 days.choriodecidual reaction is adequate.no evidence of fetal cardiac activity on colour and power Doppler study at present..WHAT IT MEANT?

Hi,
Your USG scan shows absence of cardiac activity at 8werks gestation.This suggests either blighted ovum ormissed abortion...which needs removal of pregnancy.
In my view you should have another USG scan after a week. If this time also, there is no heart beat seen, better go for termination of pregnancy. Please be under the care of a gynecologist and follow their personalized advise given.
