General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
After going through the ultrasound report, it suggests a single mass in the fundal region (upper part of the uterus) and as a result uterus is bulky (bigger in size than normal). Even endometrium (lining layer of uterus) is thicker than normal.
From this, it appears that you have a 'fibroid' in the upper portion of the uterus.
It is not a big problem. You can undergo an operational procedure called 'myomectomy' for the removal of mass in the upper portion of uterus.
After that, you need to wait and see how your endometrium will respond.
If it comes back to normal, then no intervention is needed. Otherwise, depending on the response, suitable measures needs to be taken.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for opinion and mangement in this regard.
Wish you all the best.
