What Does This Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

The uterus is anteverted in position.the size of the uterus is about 8.4×4.90×3.8cm. The uterus is of mildly bulky is size. The myometrium is of inhomogeneous texture due to presence of two well defined myoma s seen along the upper posterior and mid posterior wall of the uterus. The size of these myoma s are about 29×20mm & 15×12mm respectively. The endometrium is 11.3mm & of mixed echo.

The ultrasound indicates the presence of the myomas in the uterus. The myomas are benign mass in the uterus which can be treated in different options. The treatment consists in medications such as contraceptive pills. They can also be treated through surgery such as myomectomy.
