What Does This Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

hi doctor, iam 21 weeks pregnant now. during the scaning that i came to know that there is prominence of fetal renal pelvis seen on right sides 3.0 mm on left,3.5mm on right side.Is this is a problem for baby?, i dont know what is the situation& is there any problem after delivery to baby.. please sugges

Hello

Your ultrasound findings suggests mildly prominent bilateral fetal renal pelvis.
It is expected to improve with advancement of pregnancy.
Since it is below 5.0 mm in second trimester,prognosis is good.
So,don't worry and your findings need repeat ultrasound.
It is not expected to cause any problem to your baby.
