Pls a scan my wife had today showed I have a normal seized, non gravity anteverted uterus measuring about 7.6cm x 4.4cm x 5.9cm with uniform myometrium. there is endometrial fluid collection with mixed echogenic within. Both ovries are normal in size and the configuration. There is no Adnexal mass or pelvic fluid collecton in the pounch of Douglas. The Urinary bladder isnormal in outline and wall thickness........... what does this means, i ask her to go do a scan because her pregnacy test was possive last week when she went for test but she has been feeling pains in her tommy every night for the pass three days and blood came out from her body ...thank you and i will wait your answer
I have gone through your question and I understand your concern.
There is no feature of pregnancy in her ultrasound scan, however, fluid in the endometrium is consistent with clinical picture of bleeding. If the pregnancy test is positive then this may represent either very early pregnancy with implantation bleed or spontaneous abortion. Only a follow up ultrasound after 2 weeks can differentiate between these two.
I would suggest you consult your local physician for detailed clinical history, physical evaluation to co- relate this report with her findings and then decide further course of treatment accordingly.
I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns. Wishing you good health.
