General & Family Physician 's  Response
Caliectasia is a dilatation of the kidney’s urine collecting tube within the kidney itself. It can reflect some degree of obstruction, infection, or reflux of urine from the bladder to the kidney. Stasis of urine in the upper ureter has a similar list or possible causes. These causes need to be investigated further.
Advice
1.     Continue antibiotics as suggested by your doctor
2.     Syrup alkaline citrate 2 teaspoonful three times daily for 15 days
3.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of uncontaminated water daily
4.     Investigations – USG abdomen, R/E urine, C/S urine
Thanks
