What Does This Ultrasound Test Result For Uterus Indicate?
Uterus is anteverted and bulky in size measuring 89mm*65mm*57mm with normal homogeneous echotexture and has a well defined margin. The endometrium is in midline, echogenic and thickened measuring approx 14mm, no evidence of endometrial polyp /adhesion /collection seen. No focal lesion seen Endomyometrial interface is maintained. Cervix shows small nabothian cyst.upper part of visualised vagina is normal. Adenexa seems to be normal left and right Overy is normal. Cul de sec is clear. Both fornices are clearly.Impression Finding Reveal _Anteverted bulky uterus with thickened endometrium. CHRONIC CERVICITIS
If the scan is done nearing your periods then 14mm thickness is okay. If your periods have stopped, then you need to consult the gynecologist for evaluation. even chronic cervicitis needs to be evaluated by a gynecologist. Please meet the gynecologist at the earliest and get evaluated.
