What Does This Ultrasound Test Result Indicate?

what does Inactive-appearing endometrium mean? I had a hysterectomy due to prolonged periods, large blood clots the size of grapefruits, multiple irregular periods a month for almost three years. I had a ultrasound and biopsy in late 2014 that came back normal and both again in early 2016, the biopsy came back normal but the ultrasound showed a fibroid that was not there in 2014. Below are the results - Recent test Diagnosis UTERUS AND CERVIX (95 GRAMS) WITH BILATERAL FALLOPIAN TUBES: A. Adenomyosis. B. Inactive-appearing endometrium. C. Unremarkable cervix. D. Benign bilateral fallopian tubes with paratubal cysts

Hello,

There is history of hysterectomy and so the residual stump is suggestive of inactive uterine tissue and unremarkable cervix. The swelling of bilateral fallopian tubes indicate chronic tissue congestion after the pedicles ligation at the time of surgery and majority of the times do not require intervention. If the hydrosalpinx is the sole cause of pelvic pain, laparoscopic surgery can be best option for that.
